Golcar United FC is thrilled to announce the formation of our brand new Girls U13s team for the upcoming season, creating an exciting opportunity for Year 7 girls to begin their football journey in a supportive, nurturing environment.
Women’s and girls’ football has transformed dramatically in recent years. We’re witnessing increased participation and a fundamental shift in how the sport is perceived, supported, and celebrated. At Golcar United, we’re proud to be part of this positive change by expanding our youth section to welcome more young female players.

With our thriving Ladies’ first team competing successfully in the West Riding County Women’s Football League, young players can see exactly where their journey might lead. Several of our current senior players began in junior football, and there’s nothing more inspiring for young girls than seeing this pathway in action.
Training sessions are designed to be fun, engaging, and appropriately challenging. We understand that every child develops at their own pace, and our coaches are experienced in creating sessions that allow each player to progress comfortably.
